HOW TO SOLVE: In this 4x4 puzzle, all the number from 1 to 4 must
appear in each row and column, as in a su-doku. The totals given in
each of the blocks bounded by the coloured lines are calculated from
the sum of the numbers in all the squares within that block. That sum
can be arrived at by multiplication, division, addition and subtraction
as indicated to the right of the total.
TO ENTER: Download the PDF file below and print off the competition
puzzle. When you have solved the puzzle, the number in the circle will
be your prize answer. Click here to enter the your answer. Follow the
instructions on the page and enter your answer in the box provided. If

How to solve: In the puzzle above the numbers 1-4 have to appear in each row and column. Contained within the blue lines is the result of the sum shown to the right of the total. Therefore 6x, for example, can only be 2x3, and 2x must be 2x1.
