Introduce yourselves
Hopefully a few people are going to be joining this forum in the coming few days and weeks...so having a place to introduce yourselves might not be a bad idea.
So here goes.
As you may guess from my cunningly cunning username, I'm Andrew Revell and I work in the puzzles department for Bauer doing a variety of things, which as of recently includes helping to maintain a few bits of this website. I do some of the obvious things such as creating the polls and contributing to the facts of the day as well as behind the scenes stuff to let people enter competitions and suchlike.
Er...I'm in my mid-twenties. I was born in Sheffield but recently moved down to London...I play too many videogames...love music...and...er...
That'll do I think.
So, to anybody who is reading this...Who are you? What brought you here? How are you today?

Who are you? What brought you here? How are you today?
i'm lotti aka korkythekat :)
what bought me here ? ,
went to enter the criss cross issue 6 and it's still not live to enter online, i buy all the issues for all the diff mags on here & enjoy them, but find it frustrating once i've finished the puzzles for the relevant mags, the online entry isn't open, love the mags, love the site & love doing the puzzles/crosswords/ etc, but would be brilliant if the online entries would be open to enter a couple of days after the mags come out, i've often phoned Bauer or emailed them regarding this & must admit they've been very helpful, although sometimes it's a techie hitch :)
How are you today?
very well thank you, but would be better if the online entry for criss cross 6 would be open !
keep up the good work, you do a great job xx
Technically the competition was live, the link to get to it wasn't...but it's all fixed now.
I'll point out that is at 12.50am...if that isn't service I don't know what is!
Sorry for the inconvience, and welcome to our forum!
crisscross issue 6 -
entry open , thank you andrew, that was quick xxx :)

Hi folks. I'm Larry, I'm 53 and live in the SW region. Still have a job and paying my way and taxes (unlike our honourable MPs). I have recently got into crosswords and have found that I actually like the codebreakers best of all. I admit that I cheat a tad in that if I decide that a letter is the one I believe it is, raher than cock-up the puzzle entirely, particularly at the beginning, I check I have got it right. The puzzles I find most difficult are the ones that have TV (particularly soap related) questions - I guess it's because I don't watch soaps or daytime TV. Regards to you all. xx
Hi I'm Eileen. I will be 60 in a couple of weeks and as I'm disabled I have some time on my hands so I enjoy doing codebreaker puzzles & word-searches especially the hide and seek ones. I also enjoy doing Hide & seek computer games. I am a Grandmother of 9 and a Great Grandmother of 2 beautiful babies.
hi im marion and ive just joined and have just started to do the wordsearch puzzles in my spare time would love to chat to some people who love to do these as well.x
Hey everyone,
I haven't joined in the last few days but I pop here now and again for the quizzes and the free catalogues.
How am I today? Gutted that I always get the sport questions wrong!
