hello every one its a sad thing that unfortunatly the dvp forum will be gone soon
it has given me friends and cheered me up when im down i for one will be sad to see it go
that said i can understand why it has to go since we dont generate an income for the company
as it was we had a long stretch without the magazine while we waited for an evolution to digital that wont be ever seen

As mentioned on the DVP forums, we'd love for everyone who formed such a nice little community there to hop over onto these forums as it is a genuine shame that it has to go, but as you say it is an entirely financial decision. Doesn't mean it was an easy decision to come to though. And sadly this forum is completely incompatible with the old DVP forum so there is no way of transferring anything over, try as we might.
So please, please make yourself at home here. Get everyone you can to sign up and treat this new forum just as you treated the old one.
Of course it isn't perfect having to re-locate, but hopefully better than nothing. You never know, the combination of DVP refugees and a steady stream of new people starting to join up here might even make a bigger and better community than you had over there. Given time, at least...
