With reference to the above publication, page 49. I disagree with the squeeze box being refered as an accordian in the clue. The term squeeze box ( It's small easy to store and transport) affectionally refers to a thing known as a concertina, pushed in and out by both hands and was quite commonly used by frontiers men, seamen, and folk musicians. It quite often went hand & glove with the fiddle.

My understanding of the term was that it was just generic and could be applied to any instrument of that ilk. According to the OED as a nautical term it refers to a harmonium and in general parlance refers to either a concertina or an accordian with no preference of one over the other. Wikipedia's description is roughly similar.
But I assure you that no offence was intended! Do you play then?
