Any Scrabblers?

Am a bit of a Scrabble fan and was wondering if anyone else is? Or any board games really. I'm always on the look out for interesting new games the whole family can play. We like Taboo in our house as well.

Well I love playing old fashioned real time scrabble with my partner and sometimes even his mother. Only trouble is my partner always wins!!

I just love Scrabble - but I can't find anyone to play with! A site that offered a weekly Scrabble challenge would be fantastic.

i love scrabble but hardly get the chance to play. My kids are teenagers and have 'better things to do' than play scrabble with me and besides they are fed up of being beat at it, hubby doesnt mind the game once in 6 months but insists on tying up the board deliberately.... drives me mad so i refuse to play!
Yahoo games offer you the chance to play literati (which is exactly like scrabble) and you can play with real people in real time. have made some fab friends on there. it also stores your ranking and shows you how your improving. you can invite your personal freinds to a table and have a real good laugh. worth a try i say. my name on yahoo games is either stroppy_cowbag or kaz4sim look me up im always ready for a game

Hiya, just seen your message about not having anyone to play scrabble with. If you join Facebook, they have an application on there called Scrabulous. It's great - I've currently got 3 games on the go with friends. You challenge people to play and just login and play whenever you have a few minutes. It's brilliant.

i love playing scrabble but my hubby is more of a monopoly fan(and he always wins at it).my kids are a bit young though but we all love getting the ps2 out and putting on our buzz games...specially monkey buzz and the ones designed for kids as its anyones game..even all our friends like a game when they come round.lol x

i love playing scrabble but my husband cant spell so we end up arguing until the dictionary comes out and im proved right as always! So frustrating!

i noticed that you said your kids may be too young for scrabble. There is a junior scrabble that is easier than normal one cause they can cover the letters on the board with tiles. My kids are 9 and 6 and my 6 year old loves it. Hope this helps

Scrabble is good for the PS1. I'm sure there must be a PS2 version too. You can play as a family or against the computer ;)
