COMPETITION ENTRY RULES

Competitions are open to residents of the UK (including the Channel Islands), Eire or BFPOs, aged 18 or over, except employees of H Bauer Publishing and their families, its printers and anyone connected with the competitions. No purchase is necessary.

H Bauer cannot be held responsible for any loss in service of the online entry mechanism, nor can responsibility be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted due to computer error in transit.

Please note that when entering on-line, we will accept only one entry per registered user. If more than one entry for the same issue is received, we will accept the first entry only.

A free entry coupon can be obtained by sending an SAE to Take a Break's Puzzle Magazines, 24-28 Oval Road, London NW1 7DT, stating clearly the magazine name and issue number required.

Entries on a postcard will be accepted, provided they arrive by the closing date. Postcards should be set out like the entry coupon. Proof of posting cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are delayed, damaged, mislaid or wrongly delivered. We can accept only one entry coupon per envelope.

The £5,000 competition is being run in conjunction with participating titles in the Take a Break Puzzle Magazines range.

A winning entry is the first correct answer drawn corresponding to the particular competition prize offered. Prize winners will be notified by post on headed 'Take a Break' notepaper and the results published. Winners must agree to the publication of their names and photos. The Editor's decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into. Entry implies acceptance of these rules.

There is no cash alternative to prizes, unless specified, and no alternative holidays can be offered.
